The AstroCamp 2023 applications period ended on April 30. The first stage of the evaluation has been done, and the candidates shortlisted for the second stage of the selection process have been notified by e-mail. For those not contacted, we regret to inform you that your application was unsuccessful.

Some statistical information about the candidates (the numbers are approximate):
- 40% of the candidates are boys and 60% girls;
- 25% of the candidates are Portuguese, 60% from other European Union countries, and 15% from the other eligible countries;
- 75% of the candidates study in public schools and 25% in private schools;
- 35% of the candidates are in the 12th grade (the last year before university, in the Portuguese school system), 30% in the 11th grade (the year before) and 35% in the 10th grade.
