Fourth scientific article by AstroCamp alumni published
Published at 13 of January of 2016The article Fine-structure constant contraints on dark energy: II. Extending the parameter space, co-authored by one of the AstroCamp 2014 students (Catarina Rocha), has been published in Physical Review D and is also available here.
Part of the work leading to the article was developed at CAUP in July 2015, during the internships of 4 high-school students in the framework of Ocupação Científica dos Jovens nas Férias (Ciência Viva, Portugal) and the Joves i Ciència program (Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera, Spain), supervised by the AstroCamp scientific director, Carlos Martins. New internships will be available in July 2016.

This is the fourth scientific article published by former AstroCamp students. The previous 3 are
- On the stability of fundamental couplings in the Galaxy, published in Physics Letters B and co-authored by Pedro Vianez, a student of AstroCamp 2012.
- Dark energy and Equivalence Principle constraints from astrophysical tests of the stability of the fine-structure constant, published in the Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics and co-authored by Catarina Rocha, a student of AstroCamp 2014.
- Cosmic Censorship and parametrized spinning back hole geometries, published in General Relativity and Gravitation and co-authored by Leonel Quinta Queimada, a student of AstroCamp 2013.
